June 18, 2018: As part of The International Functional Fitness Federation’s (iF3) ongoing commitment to increasing competitive integrity and officiating proficiency, the iF3 will be implementing Dartfish video replay technology at its 2018 World Championships in London, England. Dartfish is a video solutions provider, which offers an array of products that allow users to view, edit, and analyze videos for various uses.

The iF3 will be using Dartfish’s video replay technology to record and review the World Championships competition in order to analyze and review performance of Technical Officials on the competition floor as well as analyze athlete score inquiries should the need arise.

“Dartfish provides us a tremendous opportunity for real time, in event, video analysis to ensure the accuracy of Technical Officials’ decisions on the field of play. I am most excited about the opportunity to use the video captured to supplement and enhance the continued professional development of the Technical Official staff,” explained Mark Leonard, Chair of the Technical Official’s Committee (Formerly the Judges’ Committee).

The iF3 has placed a large priority on enhancing educational opportunities for Technical Officials, and the use of Dartfish technology is a large step forward in our mission to enhance the abilities, performance, and preparation of our Technical Officials.

In addition to the Dartfish replay technology, the iF3 will also be launching an official iF3 Channel on the Dartfish TV platform. This channel will allow the iF3 to post and share a variety of video content with spectators, athletes, coaches, and technical officials.
