Santiago, Chile November, 20, 2018: Today, the International Functional Fitness Federation (iF3) announced its recognition of the Federacion Chilena De Functional Fitness as the national governing body for competitive functional fitness in Chile.
Arturo Hinojosa, President of the Chilean Federation, announced, “we hope as a federation to be able to deliver all the formal and technical support tools that an athlete needs, to create quickly the multi disciplinary team that this federation needs, to work together is the best way to build community and to be able to work in order to have athletes of the same level. Chile currently has and will soon be able to meet at the next championship of the worlds in Malmo, Sweden and be together with the IF3 for today and forever working hand in hand with the IF3.”
He went on to explain that, “we are very enthusiastic about this year and what is left of 2018 and the first quarter of 2019, to work arduously in the formation of judges and entities that consistently formalize this federation, because from the first moment our only goal is to be able give opportunities and focus to our athletes and operate in a transparent way in all of our processes.”
The Chilean Federation has set their sights on attending their first iF3 World Championships in 2019. The 2019 World Championships will be held in Malmo, Sweden in early fall and will feature athletes from around the world.
