Get ready for tacos, beaches and beautiful sunsets as the iF3 World Championships 2022 will be moving from Moscow to Hermosillo, Mexico.
This was announced today on the iF3 Youtube channel. The dates will be moved back to December to allow for extra planning time for the new host city. Additional event details will be posted on if3worlds.com as they become available.
The area near Hermosillo is home to a rich history and beautiful beaches, including in nearby San Carlos, which was selected the site of the best ocean views in the World by National Geographic.
The Mexican Federation has designed an event logo that uniquely represents Mexican history, culture, and tradition. An explanation of each element in the logo can be found below.

iF3 President, Gretchen Kittelberger, stated, “We are thrilled to bring iF3 Worlds to Mexico in 2022. We have held several World Championships in a row in Europe, and we are very excited to come back to the Western Hemisphere to host Worlds on the North American continent. The Mexican Federation’s planning team has already shown exceptional attention to detail with the design of this year’s logo, and we are confident that will carry over into the execution of the event. With the world opening back up, we look forward to having the largest iF3 World Championships yet in Hermosillo.”
