July 24, 2026: Following the decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on May 7th to lift the suspension of Belarussian athletes and it’s July 7th decision to provisionally lift the suspension on the Russian Olympic Committee, the iF3 has announced that Belarussian and Russian athletes will also be allowed to return to iF3 competition as representatives or their country, as well as return to team competition.
When the IOC first imposed restrictions on Russian and Belarussian athletes, the iF3 General Assembly voted to follow and implement the IOC guidance on this topic. As such, it follows from that vote that the iF3 will continue to follow the current guidance issued by the IOC and any new guidance that may be issued in the future.
The iF3 expects to see both Russian and Belarussian athletes participate in Masters Worlds and Worlds later this season.
